The holiday season is upon us! Our Holiday concert is this upcoming Monday December 18th, 2017. This concert is in conjunction with the entire Jefferson Music Department, so the choirs and bands will be performing as well. The Band concert will start at 6:00 with the Choir/Orchestra concert following at 7:30.
Wires on Fire will be performing in the lobby between the two concerts. Students in Wires on Fire should meet in the orchestra room at 6:40 and will start playing as soon as the band concert lets out.
All orchestra students should arrive no later than 7:00 p.m.!
Unlike other concerts, there will be an admission charge to get into the auditorium. Prices are $5 for adults and $2 for students I believe.
Students need to wear their concert black uniforms provided by the school (tux or dress). Students will need to wear their own closed toe black shoes and socks with their attire.
Please send your student to school with a holiday baked good or snack that the orchestra can sell in the lobby. This baked sale is normally a big hit and is a way for us to make a little money for the program.
Wires on Fire will be going on tour December 21st to spread holiday cheer throughout the community. They will perform at the ELSC, Roosevelt Middle School, and West ridge Care center. Please sign and return a permission form so your child can attend.
